What is ENS?
ENS means Entry Summary Declaration. In accordance with the European Union Legislation ENS is an obligation to submit in maritime transport. It is a type of declaration for road vehicles travelling by Ro-Ro that allows the cargo information to be sent to interested parties at the destination port.
Which type of transit declarations must include ENS?
ENS is a requirement for all the vehicles that ride on Ro-Ro vessels from Turkey.
ENS must be submitted at the ports of Pendik, Ambarlı, Mersin and Çesme in Turkey, at the ports of Trieste and Bari in Italy and at the ports of Toulon in France.
